[ARCHIVED] The temporary Town Hall complex will be closing at Noon today and will reopen on Friday

Nicole

Lee County and the Town of FMB are under a tropical storm warning (Nicole) through tomorrow.  This means winds in the 39 to 73 mph range accompanied by rain.
The Town is concerned especially about the potential for airborne debris and further damage to structures that were already damaged by Ian.
LeeTran busses will be operating this morning starting at 7 a.m. Busses will be picking up at various points along Estero Boulevard to take anyone who wishes to go to a shelter operated by Lee County at the Estero Recreation Center. If you are in a home damaged by Ian or you otherwise feel unsafe this service is for you.
If you are leaving, it would be wise to plan to be off the Island by Noon today.
The temporary Town Hall complex will be closing at Noon today along with the Community Resource Centers at Times Square, Beach Baptist Church, and Santini Plaza. These locations have bottled water that you can pick up until Noon.
Watch local media outlets for updates on the storm as it progresses.
Stay safe everyone!

Nicole forecast to become hurricane later today
