[ARCHIVED] Short term rental ban remains; Gov. DeSantis not ready to lift it

Governor DeSantis stated today that he is not ready to rescind the vacation short term rental ban but will consider a county plan if submitted. 

In the Town of Fort Myers Beach, reservations made for occupancy starting today need to be cancelled. Only hotels, motels, and timeshares can start accepting reservations today - and going forward - for occupancy as early as today.
