[ARCHIVED] Construction Debris Pick up

Now that the Town of Fort Myers Beach has completed the final horticultural debris collection resulting from Hurricane Irma. On Monday, November 13th the Town’s contractor will begin collecting construction debris at the south end of the island, moving towards the north. Construction debris includes fencing, wood, shingles, drywall etc. Please keep the pile accessible to the “claw” but not blocking or impeding the roadway. If the pile has hazardous materials such as paint it will not be picked up. Hazardous materials must be disposed of at the Hazardous Materials Waste Site off of Topaz Court in Fort Myers. For questions regarding the construction debris collection, please call Town Hall at (239) 765-0202.
