reFRESH Estero Boulevard crews are building improvements and reconstructing roadway in Segment 1 of Estero Boulevard from Crescent Street to Lovers Lane, approximately one mile. This project is being done in coordination with the Town’s Waterline Replacement Project.
Lee County improvements include sidewalks on both sides of the road, trolley stops, drainage improvements, and relocation of existing utilities including FPL power poles, telephone and cable lines, and sewer force main. The Town of Fort Myers Beach completed reconstruction of the North End of Estero Boulevard in 2008. Future phases of the project will reconstruct Estero Boulevard in approximately one-mile segments continuing to the south.
