Regular household trash - 40 lbs. or less - is picked up on Tuesday mornings. Trash must be placed in secured trash cans to prevent wild animals from accessing it.
Recycling is also picked up on Tuesday mornings. Recyclable items should be seperated and placed in bins issued by the solid waste collection company - Veolia. Call VEOLIA at 239-334-1224 to request a recycling bin.
Yard clippings, leaves, tree limbs and other agricultural waste from landscaping activities are picked up Wednesday mornings. These items are to be placed in trash cans, bags, or bundled with twine. Bags and bundles are to be less than 5 foot long and no more than 40 lbs.

Residents may now dispose of household chemical waste between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday and every first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 12 Noon. The facility will be closed on holidays observed by Lee County. More information...
