The Planning Department is responsible for the Town of Fort Myers Beach Comprehensive plan, as well as the review process for granting and issuance of development orders for site work activities for all commercial, multiple-family developments within the Town of Fort Myers Beach. Development Review Process
There are several process for development review that may be required depending on the type and degree of development or redevelopment proposed within the Town of Fort Myers Beach. To determine the appropriate processes for development, a pre-application meeting is suggested with the Planning Department staff.
We are only accepting online submittals through the Request Portal or by submitting to zoningpermits@fmbgov.com. Packages submitted online will not be officially accepted until staff has confirmed that the packages are complete. Applications and material lists are available below.
