At the February 16 Town Council meeting, Town Council approved Emergency Declaration #8 related to COVID, although the decision was not unanimous.
It keeps the requirement in place for everyone in the Town to wear face masks in public when social distancing cannot be maintained. It also continues to prohibit special event permits from being issued unless event organizers seek and receive an exception from Town Council at a regular meeting.
