The new museum opened in November 2015 and is located inside the newly restored 1921 William H. Case house. This arts and crafts style building is the oldest standing structure on Fort Myers Beach and sits on top of a 2,000-year-old Calusa Indian Shell Mound.

Newton Beach Park
The Park is the former estate of Jim Newton who gained notoriety through the publication of his book Uncommon Friends. His book details personal relationships with key figures of the Twentieth Century including Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Charles Lindbergh, and Dr. Alex Carrel.
Jim and Ellie Newton’s home Seven Seas is currently available for rent as a community meeting place within a park setting on family-friendly beachfront.
