PREVIOUSLY LEGAL NON-CONFORMING SIGNS MUST BE BROUGHT INTO COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT CODE

Fort Myers Beach, FL- The Town of Fort Myers Beach Community Development Department Staff has been working with local residents and businesses on bringing the areas signs into compliance with Section 30 of the Town of Fort Myers Beach Land Development Code. Many property owners in the Town have been working toward voluntary complying with the provision. Town Staff will continue to assist the public with voluntary compliance efforts. Town Staff will report additional progress to the Town Council in November, at which time they will discuss further actions.

Copies of Chapter 30 of the Town of Fort Myers Beach Land Development Code that regulates signs and sign permit applications are available on the second floor of the Town Hall located at 2523 Estero Blvd. Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931.
