Tracey Gore grew up on Fort Myers Beach with her older brother, Matt, younger sister Pammy, and parents Doug and Joanne who were married at the Catholic Church of Ascension on the island.
Tracey, her brother and sister all attended and graduated from Fort Myers Beach Elementary School , where all their names are still in the cement (a fifth grade graduation tradition). Both of Tracey's children also graduated from Beach Elementary School and have their names in the cement too.
Tracey graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University on the President's List with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, concentrating in Public Relations, and a Minor in Marketing. She is also a Certified Substitute Teacher for the Lee County School District.
Tracey has spent much of her life volunteering with her family and friends in the Fort Myers Beach community. She was Beach School PTO President for several years and a volunteer for the Fourth of July Fireworks Committee for 23 years with her family (Semmer's). She also spent the past several years volunteering for the Fort Myers Beach Lion's Foundation as their Shrimp Festival Queen Pageant Coordinator, and the Fort Myers Beach Kid's Foundation raising funds for island families in need.
Tracey and her husband, Henry Gore, own Gore Seafood, Inc., a local Shrimp Company. Their current shrimp boat is named "LEXI JOE" after their children Lexi and Joey.
Tracey loves that her parents gave her the gift of growing up a "Beach Kid" and that she and her husband were able to give their kids that same gift.
