Special Event
Permitting
Below is a link to download an application for a Special Event Permit. Please be advised that any activity on any part of the sandy beach must have a field permit from the FL Department of Environmental Protection, and must also be reviewed by Lee County Environmental Sciences. It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain these documents. According to the Town Ordinances which govern Special Events: “At least twenty-one 21 days prior to the scheduled commencement of the event, or prior to January 1, if the event is to be held during the season February through April, the completed application with descriptive plans for all arrangements must be submitted along with the applicable fee if any.” Therefore, no permit applications for an event to be held between February 1st and April 30th, 2008 will be accepted after January 1st, 2008.
