The Community Resource Center at Santini Plaza that was set up to assist residents immediately after Hurricane Ian is set to close on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
The supplies, restrooms, laundry, and showers that have been at that Center are moving to the Community Resource Center at Beach Baptist Church. Beach Baptist Church is also housing the Disaster Recovery Center with FEMA personnel available to assist residents Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This change is occurring because the use of the center at Santini Plaza has been dwindling in the past few weeks.
