In June of this year, Town Council approved a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a piggyback contract with Charge Point, Inc., to install three new electric vehicle charging station ports.
Two of the stations were installed last week, at Newton Beach Park and Town Hall. They are Level 2 Dual EV charging stations.
The third - a Level 3 dual electric vehicle charging station at Times Square-Center Street - is to be installed in the future.
