[ARCHIVED] ATTENTION KIDS AND PARENTS: Holiday Youth Festival is this week at Bay Oaks

On December 16, Bay Oaks will hold a Youth Holiday Festival from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The festival is for children ages 5 to 13. 


It will involve refreshments, games, holiday art, Gingerbread making, movies and a gift-wrapping contest. The cost is $5 per child. Parents are invited to attend and enjoy the refreshments.

This event will be held in the gymnasium at Bay Oaks Recreational Campus, 2731 Oak Street. To register or ask questions, contact Ahmad Sheffield, Youth and Teen Coordinator, by email at ahmad.sheffield@fmbgov.com or by phone at (239) 980-8021.

Bay Oaks Recreational Campus encompasses 15 acres and is operated by the Town of Fort Myers Beach. It houses a community pool, two baseball/softball fields, a disc golf course, three outdoor pickleball courts, four tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and a gym with a fitness center. Also provided are summer youth programs, after-school programs, and adult and senior programs and classes. The campus has a variety of open natural space for the community and visitors to enjoy.
