Summer camp at Mound House returns this year from June 1 through July 30 featuring fun themes each week for children ages 6 to 10.

Operated by “Super Science and Amazing Art” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, three camp days each week will be at Mound House and two camp days will be at Newton Beach Park. Precautions due to COVID will be taken, including masks and social distancing.

Campers will enjoy kayaking on the back bay from the Mound House launch and swimming in the Gulf at Newton Beach Park. They will also enjoy theme-oriented organized camp activities, outside games, and museum exploration. Each camp week has room for a minimum of six and a maximum of 15 participants.

Cost is $250 per camper per week. An application for scholarships will be available. Early drop off and late pickup may be possible based on instructor availability. Campers will need to bring masks and their snacks, lunch and water bottle each day in addition to towels and change of clothes.

Themes each week will include Robotics, Gamers, Build it, and Kitchen Chemistry.  Mound House is located at 451 Connecticut Street.
