[ARCHIVED] From the Town Manager: Tuesday, August 21, 2018

Any resident or visitor that is inquisitive about local air quality out of general interest or due to current environmental conditions can visit the below listed websites for the latest information. It is important to note that the air is safe to breathe during the fish kill, however some respiratory irritation may occur depending on how sensitive you are to the red tide toxin. Again, the sites listed below monitor air quality in the greater Fort Myers Beach area. NOAA includes respiratory irritation likelihood due to Red Tide. Air Now and World Air Quality measure air pollution in our area.
