Audit Committee - 1 seat available
The Audit Committee was established in accordance with Florida Law for the purpose of serving in an advisory capacity to the Town Council in the selection of an auditor to conduct the Town's annual financial audit and for other purposes as directed by the Town Council. All members should possess a basic understanding of governmental financial reporting and auditing.
Community Resources Advisory Board - 3 seats available
The Community Resources Advisory Board seeks to enhance the quality of life on Fort Myers Beach by creating a vision for the community. The advisory board intends to accomplish its mission through the promotion and implementation of such community activities as public education, leadership, volunteerism, beautification, and recreation through the development and cultivation of a corps of community leaders and volunteers.
Public Safety Committee - 5 seats available
The Public Safety Committee shall address any safety and transportation issues specifically assigned to the Committee by the Town Council for the purpose of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of and visitors to the Town of Fort Myers Beach. The Committee shall review, discuss and evaluate the most significant safety and transportation issues within the Town. The Committee shall utilize methods that include, but are not limited to, public participation and forums.
