NOTICE: COVID-19 UPDATE Friday, July 10, 2020 Bay Oaks weight and cardio rooms are open by reservation only for up to four people at a time starting each hour on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sessions will be for 45 minutes to allow for sanitizing between sessions.
Reservations will start on each hour from 8 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Reservations must be made at least two hours in advance by calling 239-765-4222. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
The grounds, tennis courts and pickle ball courts are open for use in accordance with CDC guidelines, including wearing masks in any outdoor space where social distancing is not possible.

Pool is currently Closed for repairs. Repairs required to the lap pool by the Lee County Health Department have begun. This pool will remain closed until repairs are completed.

The Town of Fort Myers Beach Parks and Recreation Department which was founded in 2010, is comprised of full time, part-time, and seasonal employees that serve more than 10 thousand permanent and seasonal residents. Currently, the department provides various programs/activities to a spectrum of age ranges including our signature programs, BOSS-Bay Oaks Social Seniors and Club Rec, part of our Youth program. The Department manages and operates an Aquatics Center, Bay Oaks Recreational Center which includes 4 tennis courts, two baseball/softball fields, Disc Golf course, 3 Outdoor Pickle Ball Courts, Basketball court, a playground, and also a natural area. The Parks and Recreation Department is tasked to maintain compliance with the Town of Fort Myers Beach Comprehensive Plan.
